Until now, Agentiv's calendar features assumed Google. Plenty of recruiting teams live in Microsoft 365, so Outlook and Teams now work in Agentiv the same way Google Calendar and Meet always have.
What you can do
- Connect your Outlook calendar. Sign in with your work or school Microsoft account from your calendar settings. Your events show up in Agentiv's calendar next to everyone else's.
- Schedule against real availability. When you book an interview, Agentiv checks free/busy for every interviewer, whether they're on Google or Outlook, and only offers times that work.
- Teams links on Teams rounds. Pick Microsoft Teams as the venue for a round and the interview gets a Teams meeting link, created on the host's calendar. Interviewers and the candidate get Agentiv's own invite, with the link and a calendar file attached.
- Changes flow back. Move or cancel an event in Outlook and Agentiv picks it up on its next sync.
For IT: locked-down Microsoft 365 organisations
Many organisations require an admin to approve new apps. If yours does, Agentiv shows a link you can send to your admin. One approval covers everything Agentiv needs, and Agentiv is a verified publisher in Microsoft Entra.
Agentiv asks only for the calendar access it uses. It doesn't read your mailbox.
What's not here yet
- Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com) aren't supported. They don't have free/busy or Teams for business, so this is work and school accounts only for now.
- Sending email from Outlook is in testing. Today, Agentiv's emails to candidates still go out the way they did before.
- Only your primary Outlook calendar syncs.
How it works
Google and Microsoft sit behind the same calendar connector inside Agentiv, so scheduling, interview rooms and sync don't care which one a person uses. A mixed panel, with some interviewers on Google and some on Outlook, just works.
If you run into anything, tell us. It goes straight to the people who built it.
